1:87 Vans from Wal-Mart Help

I just got back from WallyWorld and finally found the Ford & Dodge vans you have been talking about (no Chevys) I remember reading some where about how to remove the graphics but do not remember how to do it, anyone remember?
I alsp picked a white truck, but it looks as it will be rather large, have any of you noticed this?

I know I’ve been looking for those 1:87 vans myself. All the ones I see at my local wal-mart are 1:64 scale way too large for HO.

I have found loads of the 1:64 (Matchbox/Hotwheels) and like you said they are to big. I have been looking for a couple of months now and finally found them although the didn’t have any Chevys. They all have graphics on the sides and I would like to remove it on at least some of the vans.
There was a post that told how to remove the graphics but I cannot remember or fond it.

Thanks a bunch Soo Line that is exactly what I wanted to know. I will pick up some next time I am in town and give it a try. Mike

I went and bought a big bottle of the Equate Non-Acetone nail polish remover. It worked like a charm. The graphics were gone in less than a second! It’s also good for spot cleanups of grease and such on the rails.
