I note that my post odometer just turned over to 11,000! It reminded me that I like being on this forum, even though I tend to contribute too much. Granted, my post count picked up a lot of clicks when I was a moderator for a few years, but in general I tend to foam at the mouth a bit.
I will say that I have enjoyed 99.9% of the conversations with you folks- even with those that like to argue about everything. (Yes you do!) Almost to a man (or a woman), I don’t think there’s anyone on the forum that I wouldn’t enjoy having lunch with and shooting the breeze. For sure, some would take longer to order, having to debate the menu. So, I’m setting my goal to hit 22,000 before internet forums are replaced by he glorious sewer that is Facebook. Oh yeah>> “Get off my lawn!”.

As one who has shot the breeze and shared a meal with you, let me offer congratulations!
Part of the problem with the “trolls” Sam mentioned was that there used to be titles (or a number of stars) connected with the number of posts. I think my number was altered in that era, but not as seriously as some people.
I’m still ahead of you, but I started about four years earlier. I have no doubt that you’ll someday catch up with and exceed my number…go for it!
