153 Block Signals and direct powered switches

I remember seeing somewhere, probably in CTT a couple of years ago, directions on how to wire a 153 Block Signal directly to an 022 switch.

I have recently carved into my 1122 switches for O27 to make them all direct powered, thanks to CTT. Now, if possible, I’d like to tie my 153 Block Signals into the altered switches. Is this possible? If so can you give me some direction?

I know the wiring schematics for the 153 Signal and the 1122 switch, I just don’t understand what to do.

Thank you. This is my first time posting so I hope I’ve done it right.

The 1122/1122E does not have the position indicating circuitry that the 022 units have, that double as coil shut-offs following the throw of the switch points.

You would have to incorporate a (SPDT… as Bob corrected below) microswitch or snap switch into the mechancs of your modified switch machines, not unlike those used by K-Line in their original K-275/K-276/K-375/K-376 switch machines.
