I need to know how to wire a 153 semaphore to a atlas switch , I am using a momentary toggel switch to operate the turnouts , and would like to see the direction of the switch via the 153
You can do this easily with a switch machine that shuts off the solenoid after the turnout moves. Lionel 022 and K-Line 275-6 are two examples that work this way. Lionel 1122 and 5122 and Marx are examples that don’t. If the switch machine continues to hum or draw current when you hold the toggle switch, you’ll have a harder time doing this.
