Question for the forum. I have a 16mm 800 ft. color film shot by the Christen Smith & Company in the 50’s or 60’s about trains being unloaded from a ship called the Belkarin. It also shows an old steam engine running down the track and a few dieslel engines on the ship and workers working on some of the trains. It also shows many diesel engines running and the inside of one of them. The film is shot in India. The steam train looks like the Fairy Queen for those familiar with it. It has alot more stuff but it would take a while to write down. My question is… Does anyone here think it would sell on E-Bay? I sell films all the time but never one with this subject matter. Being a train guy myself I think it is pretty cool to watch.
Hi
I just became aware of your posting and like to let you know I used to work on the MV Belkarin from 1959 to 1961 and may well have been on board when the film was shot. Could you kindly advise me if you did indeed sell the film or do you still have it?
Best regards Tor Bordevik
If I had that film I would put it on DVD and sell the copies on ebay (if it is not copywrited).

No, sorry but it sold on E-Bay. Darn, that would of been cool if you were in the film. It did show several people working on the ship and the trains.
