The thought of doing a better representation of an IC 900 series from a Spectrum model has crossed my mind a few times because lets face it - it is pretty good in most of the basic dimensions. However its likely to be one of those things that I “might do sometime” - my basic modelling interest (in US terms anyway) is New England - MEC / B&M and Maine 2 foot guage.
I tried bashing one of my Spectrum engines into a slightly better likeness of a B&M K8c - its OK but its only a basic representation (I can still see lots of things wrong with it)- mainly because I couldn’t find a drawing and I was going from a couple of bits of film and a half dozen photos.
