Are there any companies than make a 2 axel switcher in HO scale? I am looking for something to haul ore cars on some tight 15" radius track for a mininng set up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I’m using the Roundhouse “Critter”, an EMD-40. MR reviewed it in the past few months and gave it a good report. I agree with them. I’m pleased with how it runs and with its fine detail.
With a 4 wheel engine, your track should not have any dead spots becuase the loco will find them and stall.
This is my first attempt at posting a photo in this forum. Hope it works, The Roundhouse 4-wheel switcher is in the bottom right of the photo.
It is used in my coke even complex. I’m using the difco side dump car as the quench car until I make a quench car.
I have two of these, they can take incredibly tight curves.
