Gorgeous paint job on that new ES44DC, too bad we’ll be seeing the new logos on those engines soon.

That explains why there now in the 7000’s now,There DC Traction.

The engines in that first picture are so nice and shinny…and you really can’t beat a classic Santa Fe F unit.

Thanks the ATSF in war bonnet was super. I run those engines on my HO layout!

I always knew that there was something apecial about the Santa Fe.
It’s just too bad that it didn’t stick around enough.

You can’t beat those old passenger sets… What I’ve always found odd, is that I could have seen that stuff, even though I lived in Chicago back then. The ATSF line was fairly close, but for some reason, SF was kind of ignored in Chicago. We always kind of thought of it as one of those fancy West Coast mountain railroads. Even today, there’s not a whole lot of documentation on the Midwest operations, compared to the western states.
