I’ll be there…looking forward to it. Joe

I grew up not too far from Carlstadt. My Dad used to bring me to your open house every year, very impressive. I would encourage anyone who can to take it in, you guys do top work. We can’t make the trip this year do to family and distance, but wish you well.

is this open to the public or do you have to be a member like the york show?

What does the $20 cover? Lunch?

Any live steam in O?

I’ve heard it just gets you in - and the focus is ‘scale’ - not three-rail. Beautiful stuff though.

I am not positive, but, I believe it is open to the public. I saw a advertisement in I think OGR.

Your Questions -

“is this open to the public or do you have to be a member like the york show?”
This is a public convention. You do not have to be a member of any group.

What does the $20 cover? Lunch?
Sorry Dave, no lunch. The $20.00 is a one day entrance and covers all activities (trading floor, seminars, slide shows, vendor presentations), except the “extra fare” excursions, for that day.

Any live steam in “O”?
Not too likely, but you can not rule out anything showing up.
I have seen 1/4 scale live steam at one a few years ago.
European - began with an M

“and the focus is ‘scale’ - not three-rail”
Yes the focus is 2-R Scale, but look at all the scale high-rail that available. There is a lot of equipment now being made by 3-R manufactures for 2-R market and a lot of 3-R that converts easily into 2 -R. Take Lionel’s scale size cars. I have converted a few to 2-R already. Atlas, MTH, Sunset, are amoung 3-R/2-R dealers that will be there.
Also, if you attend a seminar to build scenery or wire a layout what scale you model in does not matter, you will learn something.
