When is the deadline for submissions?
Hey Marty, I want to extend to you an invite to my forum. We need at least one garden railroader other than me.
The deadline is August 10. Plenty of time to submit!

For those of you who say,

can be provine wrong.
I use contest as a personal challenge to move one step forward.
And don’t make this too hard, play with your cameras , test out different settings and lightings.
Also, the judges can’t enter,heheheheh so we don’t have to worry about them

Marty is right. Give it a try. If you don’t win the contest, there are other places to get your photo published (End of the line, web site, etc) that we use from photo contest submissions.
And also, it’s not only the judges that can’t enter, it’s anyone from Kalmbach. [:D][:D]
Thats a good point Rene, Last year I entered my first city wide contest and placed in all three photos, i was shocked.
I mainly wanted folks so see what outdoor modelrailroading was all about.
well gimme another geep 30 and some more cars and i could make a pic!

I have 3 great (in my opinion) shots from an open house that a member from my Garden RR club had. There are a lot more, but I narrowed it down to those 3.
