2012 National Train Show preliminary report

One year I will get to go. I was hoping for more N scale announcements.

As always excellent coverage.

Great first news. I am looking forward to the full details on some of these.

Goodlooking Pictures and well written aricles. Thanks.
Need More N-Guage equipment.

Your article was very well done but i wish more would be done with Z scale item reviews from the major manufactures that are doing Z scale. The time has come that people are seeing that we z scalers are true modelers and not people playing with toys. Thanks

Great recap. Thanks for info on Woodland Scenics App.

Very informative, already planning space on layout for Atlas Gas ansd Oil Co. and Lumber Co. As always keep up the great job. Thanks.

The Atlas N scale LED lights sound a lot like Brewa’s lights, I wonder if they are the same?

Well gang I just gotta say" WOW". Alot of new products coming out, I purchased the Roto wheel cleaner, and yes it is a great time saver, the track cleaning products will be purchased later on. I have an old sound unit in a 57ft. refrigerator car, does not sound too bad either. Look forward to the new athearn car as well. Looks like a great train show as always. Hope Cody and the gang from model Railroader had a great time, look for the full report in upcoming Episode of Codys Office.

Enjoyed the show at Grand Rapids and meeting the folks at NCE, they were very helpful. Also those at Walthers, Athearn, Woodland Scenics, Peco, Tony"s Train Exc., and many others. This was a HIGHCLASS show and all the new products coming out reflects on the continued innovation of these companies.

Bachmann’s 2-4-4-2 Articulated Locomotive and 18’ Freight Cars are both On30. Visit www.bachmanntrains.com for more details.

Bachmann’s new 2-4-4-2 Articulated Locomotive and 18-foot Freight Cars are both On30.

Would like to see Atlas come out with Alco S-6 or Alco T-6 in ho, also would like to see someone do a ready to run Lima-Hamilton 800hp-1000hp switchers, or even the1200hp road switcher!

great seminars, well put on. look forward to seeing everyone at Atlanta next year. train show was good with several new vendors

Good report on the show, looking forward to next weeks report.
Thanks, Art

I think that’s a pretty poor decision by Athearn to release the NS GE Heritage units as AC4400s. It would have been a homerun to take the time and use the Tower 55 tooling to produce these models are high quality, GEVO models. Instead, many modelers will not buy these as they are not reflective of the prototype.

Very nice New Product revew–Thank you very much!

Just a quick question, are the Bachmann freight cars and 2-4-4-2 On30?

Rail Tracker cleaning kit looks the business, got a job that has been waiting for one of those.

Appreciate the early heads-up!

As usual done with very good taste and informative as well.
