Marvelous to read that this remarkable terminal being in the hands of a preservation group with a goal of full restoration. Hope to attend one of the tours later this year which will require a drive from my home in Cols., OH but a worthy adventure.
@ David. It will be a long time before any Amtrak service could be relocated there. The concourse and platforms are a complete shambles and the whole area appears to be used for storage of some type of heavy equipment carcasses. But Amtrak runs by the facility and it would not be difficult to put track back in. It would also allow Amtrak trains to make a station stop without tying up a mainline track.
