30-9043 AF Coaling station

This is a remake of the original AF 785 Coaling Station that dumps coal underneath rather than the original that dropped off to the side. Doesn anyone know if the newer remake, 30-9043 operates better than the original 785 with the same condtion state? You would think that after 40+ years, some improvements might have been incorporated but that’s not always the case with cost cutting or use of cheaper materials.

To make the coaling tower move faster you have to replace a small pulley. You can get the replacement part from Port Line hobbies. I did the swap with mine and it works fine!
