30's - 50's era Somers Montana (Kalispell)

Hi

I am looking for anyone that has any information on the Somers Montana area (GN) for the 30’s to 50’s era… I am trying to model the lumber spurs into Somers, but have come up short of locating a track plan. I have some photos, but its hard to figure the exact buildings and rail from them.

Any info would be appreciated

might I suggest that you check out the Great Northern Yahoo group. There are

members there who very likely have exactly what you’re looking for-as I recently

Hope that helps - using the old USGS map and that arial photograph should get you in the ballpark.
