Great engine, and passenger cars! I also love seeing the slag cars!

Can you tell me how you weathered your tracks? I’m using Floquil Grimy Black with a light wash of Mineral Brown to get a color close to a KorTen steel, but it’s just a bit off.

Kurt, it was a tip that Dennis Brennan wrote in an article for CTT this past summer. I used a spay can of Krylon Camoflouge Brown (found in any hardware store). Just spray the entire track, rails and ties, then wipe the top rail off with paint thinner.

I remember photos you posted about the construciton of your retaining walls. They look really good in the video. Were there any surprises during the construction?
