if anyone is fimiliar with the operations of 3rdplanit and can help me out some it would be appreciated. my layout is hard to explain but i’ve got my room and benchwork built in 3rdplanit but i cant figure out how to put my backdrop in and my biggest problem is trying to join track using the connect feature for connecting curves to straight with an easment and they say you are suppose to be able to lay turnouts and such on top of the track and the join it and i tried last night for an hour and could not figure it out. any comments please either email me or answer here thanks[8]

I don’t consider myself an expert, but I believe I can help you with 3rd Planit. I bought the software about eighteen months back and I have played around with it some. I’m not much on easements myself, but attaching turnouts to a piece of track is fairly straight forward. Just click on the end of the turnout you want to attach to a piece of track and drag-and-drop it to the other piece of track. The track will highlight green when you have snaped to it. I’ll help you with any other questions I am able, but like I said, I don’t consider myself an expert. - Ed
