Ok I see the switch, where is the throw ?
The throw (both) are to the right (I cropped in on one of the photos as it’s dark outside now); you need good eyes to see them as ballast is piled up near them. Simple brass throw in copper housing with brass rod attached to points.

OK I forgot you make your own throw’s, way better then the one’s that come with aristo or LGB great job.

I under stand using HO rail to simulate 40 lb rails.
Please explain using flatten copper plumbing pipe to make the bridge.

I beleave the (however former) pipe is the gurders and the rail is the bracers. Right?

A variation…
First, you need copper plumbing pipe, sledge and anvil and some solder and HO rails.
flatten pipe with sledge and solder rails. JB weld fills in any gaps
paint with primer and rust color. The girders are nailed to a wood frame, atop which is hardiboard and then ballast and track
when spring floods (from house roof drainpipe) come, your bridge should do just fine
