50' Airslide unloading?

The army/navy base thread set me thinking… (Okay, so blame the lunacy on the shock of unaccustomed activity).

With Walthers’ “Bracks Candy” and “Hostess cakes” Airslide cars … how do they line up the candy and cakes so that they don’t jam up the outlets?

I have this image of the outlet end of the pipe spraying cream cakes onto a pile…

Maybe I should go lay in a darkened room for a while?

I knew all this thinking would cause trouble…

I would imagine the Hostess cars are carrying flour, and the Brach’s cars cane sugar or something like that. Your analogy does’t work too well here. I work in a tire plant and 98% of our carbon black comes in carbon hoppers. We make the tires and they go out in trucks or box cars.[:D]
