i had a idea for rc locos and wanted to know if 2 7.2volt batteries would b enuff 2 power a loco??
In series two 7.2 Volt battery packs will give you 14.4 Volt -which is normally sufficient. Do not put NiMH or NiCd battery packs in parallel as this can cause premature discharge.
On a point of information… Please try to use International Standard English as this is an international forum and local sang and abbreviations can cause vast confusion and leave some artichokes loaf of bread in a right 2+8(!)

Hi [#welcome] To the forum it helps if you give other members an idea where you are in the world, then any close by may be able to help on site if thats what you want or a meet to sort a problem. Its no compulsery but it helps[:)]

7.2 volts will be sufficient for small critters and locos, things like an Eggliner, maybe Bachmann’s railtruck, and some yard switchers where speed isn’t a priority. If you have room for 8.4 or 9.6 volt packs, that will give you just a little extra headroom.
