Here are pictures of 8500HPGASTURBINE’s freshly painted Big Blow turbine! He asked me to post these for him.

And let me be the first to say that it looks absolutely beautiful![:D]

You know, I never used to be into turbines that much, but with all these great shots of models, I think I’m beginning to like 'em! Those look great.
Well, well, well, I think we have a slight case of TURBINE FEVER here. The only suitable thing to do here is to encourage it, and let it grow on its own free will! You will come to see that turbines were the badest things on the rails![}:)]
Go TURBINE FEVER [:D]
Thanks TrainFreak for posting the pics. It took about 25hrs to finish. The Brass Overland wasn’t the easiest thing to take apart. I was happy with the results. The only thing I weathered was the exhaust blow hole. Both A & B units are powered. I think this perticular model was supposed to be lettered #30. I wanted it numbered #1. I also installed continueous lighting in the fuel tender.
Very nice indeed. Those are really cool.

8500HPGASTURBINE, how did you do that? I was thinking along that line also but I don’t want to mess with and mess up a masterpiece.
