Yep, I already stated on the troll topic, that they should let it go. It is a contradiction but time to let it go

No David, the point is that there is a specific topic that refuses to stop after a request. The wrong thing to do would be to ask again within that topic. I could easily seek Bergie’s interventoin, but choose not to, as he has better things to do than baby sit us.

I am looking for a general show of support now and into the future with this topic. I am trying to unify the members against the “dittohead” mentality of perpetuation by agreement. It is very difficult to resist posting sometimes. I hope this better explains my intent, and you don’t view this topic as oxymoronic.

It sure is nice of people after being asked not to post to the topic to respond by posting that they really agree with the post to stop posting to the topic… DUH!

There have been 18 posts since I asked people to stop posting to the thread and get on with their lives!?!

Thank you Howmus for understanding that I’m not picking on you. I see that I was not the first to ask for people to stop posting. I posted my stop request only after there was more discussion. I view this as something of a serious housekeeping matter, and the more cooperation we can generate, the better off we will all be.

I have edited my original post here as well as my topic title in the hope of turning this into something of a petition. This doesn’t just apply to trolling issues, it is for any topic where content is begging for a lock or deletion.
