I need a little help in understanding exactly how the Wabbit works. I want to build a mountainous section of track on a peninsula of my layout. To get the maximum curves I want a reverse loop on both ends of a 30 foot rising track section (this will not tie into my main line) and I want continuous run. In reading about the Wabbit, it seems to do what I want, but I have a few questions. Do I still need an auto reverse unit or is it part of the Wabbit circuitry? Do I need a sensor to determine train location (the reverse loop will be much larger than any train I would run)? Will one Wabbit run both tortoises at each of the seperate loops? This seems too simple so I’m afraid I’m missing something.
