Keith, sometime between the middle of October and the middle of November Walthers will release their 2007 N&Z Model Railroad Reference Book. You and I call this a catalog. Buy it!!! I get them every year as a matter, I suppose, of habit, but it is the "Bible of (N-Scale) products.
Walthers doesn’t handle everything but I periodically just browse through it - and drool.

I am looking at the 2006 issue as I write. It indicates that Con-Cor has their 85’ streamlined (smooth-sided) passenger cars available in SRR livery. Five car packaged sets of the same are also available. Con-Cor also has their Budd Passenger Cars available lettered for SRR.

Whether these particular cars come close to SRR prototypes I can’t say; if you are interested in prototype fidelity you are probably going to have to locate some (equipment) layout books. There have been several series published in the past ten to fifteen years.

You specified a distinct interest (your word was desperate) in Southern Railway. You might consider joining the Southern Railway Historical Society.
