Happiness is using my Amtrak Guest Rewards credit card to buy another 3 year subscription to Trains and thereby saving money! I’ll remember this when I ride The Lake Shore Limited in my bedroom for free.
I use my Amtrak ‘Guest Rewards’ MasterCard for 99% of my purchases. I was a bit chagrined when my Ford dealer wouldn’t let me charge my new Mustang GT (aktch’ully, I didn’t try!) on it. Now, I sit in the boondocks of Montana and don’t WANT to go anywhere! Guess I’ll have to do something this summer. I did have a nice trip, SBY-PDX-LAX-TUS-LAX-SEA-SBY, all First Class, a couple of years ago. Cost? $0.00! Cool!
