a few new railroad pictures

well…i am sitting here bored again, still waiting on parts so i can start some new locomotive projects. so, i’ll let y’all see some of the lease units and stuff i have taken pictures of lately. i will have to start a seperate topic for all the UP and BNSF pictures later on.

CEFX SD40-2 in West Colton Yard

FURX #3046 in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

GATX SD40-2

another GATX SD40-2 just east of Santa Rosa, NM.

a couple of P&W units in Rhode Island

RLCX lease unit in West Colton yard

an old SP SD40R with small GECX lettering

an ex SP SD40M-2 with a nasty nasty yellow patch.

and just for fun i’ll throw in some mood shots of some railroad signs and signals[:D]

at a siding, east of Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

a signal on the Sunset Route.

the other side of that signal, with a halo[:D]

Great Shots, NightCrawler, thanks for sharing!

Excellent pictures!!! Thanks for showing them to us!!!

Good pictures!!! I really liked the “mood” shots!!![:)]

Those are nice. How did you do that? Did you paste them?

I like the one with the halo

Wow! Great shots. Hope you share some more sometime. Those are a nice break in the forum. Maybe I’ll learn how to do that and post some of mine. Thanks.

…Yes, I too like the signal shots the best…Thanks for sharing.

nice, where is that 3rd loco pic from

kevin

i am pretty sure i took the third picture in New Mexico, probibly the same spot as the other GATX unit, just outside of Santa Rosa.

the SP with the GECX lettering was on the same line, but much further south, somewhere north of Alamogordo. and the other SP unit was in Tucson, AZ.

to post the pictures, i upload them onto my web hosting site, then when you type out your message, click on the little icon that looks like a picture. you will get a set of image tags that look like these [.img][./img] then you just cut and paste the address of the picture between the tags.

All the photo’s look great[8D].

Thanks; these are great

nice pics Nightcrawler!
thank you
stay safe
Joe

too bad the SP units have nasty patches… But SP still lives on… in my basement and heart
