It’s only out of shear luck that I happened upon your question. In the future, if you have a question for me, e-mail me. Posting something to my attention may go unnoticed.
Now, to your question… The flood of e-mails is probably due to a problem we were having with the e-mail alert feature in the forum over the past few weeks. Seems as though people weren’t getting notified when threads that they were watching were being updated. However, they system was indeed generating the e-mails, and they went into a cue. Once the problem was resolved, the floodgates opened and those messages were sent.
Once all of those e-mails have been received (I would assume that’s done by now), you should go back to normal.
