The contact wipers on the Bachmann HO Acela coaches are so horrible and not reliable and the trucks are not removable. Where can I get an alternate contact wiper to replace the factory installed ones?

Micro-Mark sells Phosphor-Bronze sheet stock. You can cut your own wipers from this material.
Litchfiled Station also sells Phosphor-Bronze wire that could be used as well.
Tomar Industries makes a prosper-bronze wiper kit that may be useful for what you want to do. I have only ever installed them on brass narrow gauge locomotives so I don’t know how they would perform at high speeds.
