A good Mr shop in New York City??

Hi!

I´ve been here before, but it was almoast a year ago!

I have a little question for you, my fellow americans…:slight_smile:

My friend is going to shop in NY City in a couple of weeks. She said she could bring me som “stuff” from NY if I wanted to, back to Sweden. Is ther any good MR shop she can enter with a list from me? I´m going to start build my layout this winter, i have just become a houseowner, so now i finally got the space!

I´m bying everything I can here in Sweden, but for example, a freightcar is like 15 dollars over here.

What do you think I should tell her to by? Boxcars? Is there any …like “bigpack”? Something I can´t get in Sweden? I´m not going to spent too much money, maybe like 100.120 dollars…maybe 150…it depends…

I would be really happy i someone could give me a tip to some good MR shop in NY City, and some good things to by, so i can do a small list to her. (She can´t take too much, so no structures, I.m afraid.)

Martin, Trainworld and Trainland are not in the Manhattan borough of NY city so your friend will have to go out of her way to get the items. You might consider ordering what you want and having it delivered to her hotel. If she buys in NY or has it delivered to the hotel in NY you will have to pay NY state tax on the sale. You may well find that the shipping cost to Sweden is not much different?
