Well i have just built this little bridge for my railroad, It’s an steel arch girder bridge made by Kibri, it’s all plastic with the major components prety well assembled it’s just a case of sticking them together, just got to paint and weather it and it’s done. Can’t wait to run something over it
That is a 50ft railbox sat on top to give you an idea of the size
and an underside shot showing the intricate iron work
That’s a nice looking bridge. It will look even better when it is painted and weathered. How about a photo of where it will be installed in your layout?
All I can say is wow!! That is a great job putting together a very good kit. Many of us ignore KIBRI and other structure manufacturers from Europe. They are not aware that in the later half of the 1800’s and first part of the 1900’s the best achitectural technology was Euriopean and hence those magnificient bridges and factory buildings were of European design.
I model 1970’s urban railroading in Philadelphia. The beautiful industrial buildings, those that have not been torn down or burned down, are very much like the kits offered by KIBRI, Volmer, Faller etc.
That Faller kit is one i look for on Ebay on a regular basis, if one pop’s up and there arn’t many bid’s i’ll have a go i recon, but i can’t afford to splash out the retail price just yet
