A Lost Loco Along The Fifth Fairway.

Friday afternoon Golf lessons for the kids usually results in two or three CP, CN or BNSF container or coal trains for me to enjoy. This was all the offerings for today though. Miles from nowhere but heading in the direction of Roberts Bank Super Port. That’s Mount Baker in the background, down in Washington State, 3286 metre’s up.

Nice photo Brent. But where’s the fairway? It would have been better with the green in the foreground.

Its that green already in Canada?

Whats your handicap? I’m a 14.

My home course.

hey! I can see the northern part of washington state from here! [(-D] boy that unit looks lonely and lost.

Hi Micheal

I can’t play anymore do to very bad arthritis in my spine. It’s a real heart breaker I’ll tell ya. I worked in a pro shop for a couple of years and played a lot of golf with the course pro. When I worked there I taught golf to the school kids that came through as part of their phys ed curriculum. The highlight of my golfing life was when I got to play (practice) rounds with the pros of the Greater Vancouver Open

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Canada_Championship at the practice course (Morgan Creek) Talk about being taken down a peg. I got some good lessons during those rounds.

The (5th) green is just out of the photo on the left. The pond is behind the green. I don’t think we even got any snow this year. Some years it doesn’t even get down to freezing here on the wet West coast.

I just sit and drink coffee and watch the kids get their lessons now. That’s all I can manage.

Handicap? Whats that?[swg]

Yep! He was blowin his horn the whole way. Like a lost lamb.[(-D]

Nice Dash 9, long hood forward!
