Has anyone else had this experience? I will notice that a topic that I have already read has turned red again, without moving to the top of the list. When I open it, thinking that I had accidentally skipped over it, I find that it has not in fact changed at all. This spontaneous ruddification seems to happen to me once or twice a day.
I haven’t paid that much attention. I’ll start looking.

Yes, it has happened to me a few times.
I too have noticed this. I think this happens when someone adds or makes a small correction to there post. Example I noticed this once a little while back . I read a post and the was spelled ( teh ) later it was red again and ( the ) was spelled correctly.
Red goes away when you exit a thread by clicking above on “Toy train operating and collecting.” Red stays when you click on the backpace arrow on the very top. The post edit concept might also explain the red that keeps coming back, system treating an edit like a new post?
