A ponderance on Kato Unitrack rerailer track

Why does the N gauge rerailer track for Unitrack come with parts to make a double track level crossing and the HO gauge equivalent doesn’t. Does it have something to do with 60mm center spacing used for HO? Will there be a part produced to smooth out the trough that placing two beside each other creates?

KATO’s primary focus is N, so there are a number of N scale Unitrack components that don’t have equivalents in HO. One could carve foam to fill the gap.

It’s just something I found odd, as they appear to have planned on doing something like an infill piece as those side ramps are removable.

At least it’s code 83 rail which means I can add in some missing bits from other manufacturers. Actually, for my area Fleischmann Profi’s the slightly more appropriate pre-ballasted track to use, but it’s virtually unattainable when compared to what Kato, Peco & Atlas items are on the shelf at the FLHS.
