A Prototype Blast From The Past...

Yesterday, I saw one of Norfolk Southern’s “Heritage” engines sitting in Toledo preparing to depart with a coal unit train. It was an ECsomething six axle unit. It was painted in Penny’s maroon and five gold stripe passenger livery and it was a knockout! I wonder if one of the model manufacturers will reproduce the Heritage paint schemes? There seems to be quite a few of them so far.

Thats an ES44AC…General Electric Evolotion series locomotive…1 of 18 to 20 NS is painting up for it “Heritage Fleet”.
