A PRR Pullman car color question

Howdy,

Can any of you PRR experts out there inform me:

Did any Pullman cars in Pullman GREEN still run on the PRR ca. 1952, and

If so, does anyone know which class(es)?

I’m thinking of picking up a Walther’s car if it’s appropriate to the period.

Yes when cars needed repairs Pulman would substitute a similar pool car in virtually any class.

Since the Pullman pool was broken up in 1947 it would be very rare for a Pullman car on PRR in 1952. Even before, Pullmans were painted Tuscan red and lettered Pullman so the train had a uniform look. PRR had a huge fleet and did their own repairs so a substitute car was readily available.
