Thanks for the heads-up.
Unfortunately, BBC is an extra-cost option on my local cable network - and the TV is usually tuned to golf, soaps or NHK (also an extra-cost option, but my wife is Japanese and I am a sumo fan.)

James May is actually the anchorman for BBC´s prime auto show “Top Gear”, but with a knack for toys and trains.
His “Toy Stories” are fun to watch -enjoy it!
I just set my system to record the series, look forward to watching them. I’ve been itching to see some shows with model trains!
They have the Golf Channel, MLB Channel, there’s the History Channel…when will we get the MRR Channel?
Mike,
watch the videos on this link
The narration is in German, but just watching the pics and films is fun! Gives you a little insight to German model railroading.
Enjoy!
Hopefully he doesn’t pull any of the Top Gear stunts with the toys. I’ll have to try and stay up for this.
If it was Clarkson I would be worried about hijinx but Captain Slow is usually very serious.
I watched that episode last night. Building a full sized leggo house!!! That was crazy cool.
Agreed! Talk about carrying a concept to its logical extreme! I thought the floor beam experiments were the best…

I’ve see something called May’s Top toys. The train clip was on YouTube. I consider him and Clarkson very lucky. May got to drive a Jag and race Tornado, Clarkson got to ride on the Footplate.
