Chief, thanks for posting these photos. I’ve been meaning to take some myself, but have been busy with Massachusetts new monsoon season.
Why is my expression that way in the first photo? I asked my mother-in-law to take a photo of Frank and I together. My father-in-law took the camera instead and proceded to drive me crazy with his complete inability to follow instructions on how to operate the shutter button on the camera. “Push it half way down, hold it there, wait for the light, then push it the rest of the way down”. He kept pushing it half way down, then releasing it and pressing it all the way down . . . and did I mention he’s the shakiest gun in the east?!
Dennis, we didn’t get to visit a train store this time. We had hoped to, but USAir put the kybosh on that.
Jim, trackplan? It’s 2 loops of FasTrack with a single siding. Nothing could be easier. The inner loop is just O36 curves, and the outside loop has two 4.5" pieces of track to make the loop wider. As basic a layout as one could possibly have.
I had a great time with the Chief last week. It was good to meet up with him again. The time went by too fast!

Isn’t it neat to see how you can build off something so simple as those two loops? Look at how he spaces his scenery and accessories. Very inspiring, Jim.
