Welcome back Tom. We missed you. What’s been happening?

12 or so of Philly’s SEPTA cars, apparently some of the ones in better condition, are now in Colorado Springs, CO at the old Rock Island roundhouse to be the initial cars on Colorado Springs downtown loop line…Most are still SEPTA red-white-blue…

…Must be a tribute to how well the old St. louis cars were designed and built. I remember when Johnstown, Pa. received a dozen or so about 1947 and I remember the first big difference was how silently they glided along the streets…Didn’t have the loud whine and heavy clanking of the much older ones being replaced.

I’m still hoping for Kenosha, WI to expand their PCC line!
