I need a power supply made to supply power to a pyle national gyralite. I need to go from 120ac household current to 74vdc with about a 3-5 amp capacity. I will know for sure on the amps once the light arrives, its a single beam unit. depending on how its constructed, I might try to modify it to 12v operation with a different motor and bulb. But I also have a Prime digital beacon that could be run by this powersupply. Thanks Mike T

Most ran with 74 v DC WITH 30 -32v for a 200 watt bulb.You might have to find a 74 v. 4 a. transformerwith a 10 a. of brige rectifyer, and build your own.
A 115v 200 watt conventional bulb might work for the latter.

I would get a Variac, a high current bridge rectifier, an on-off switch, and bolted shut box to put the variac and rectifier into once you have set it for the correct voltage.
