A ride on the Erie Lackawanna Railway

I really enjoyed this video. I was given a starter LG train set for xmas, but have not set it up. Because of the severe weather conditions in our state I have to find a good method to lay out the rail. I also have to get brass or nickle rail for outside use.

I love the mini-camera view from the engine.

AWESOME Job ! We live in a mobile home too. Love the idea of going under the trailer but I bet a derailment there would be a pain. Thanks for some new ideas.

Great layout!!!

Awesome layout I’m very impressed. Loved the tunnel. Even though I’m not really into diesels it still made an impression on me. Very well done.

I am impressed. Lots of work and careful planning went into this garden railroad. I hope that mine will look as good on video as this one does. I am still a month away from getting it completed after a tough winter. Keep up the good work!

Be proud of your accomplishment!

First Rate!

I hope my paltry 300 ft of 332 will look so good when finished, if we EVER really finish!

Hi Guys a great lay out, nice to see how near the road you have your track. Keep enjoying our hobby

I LOVE HOW YOU USED EVERY BIT OF YOUR YARD AND HOW YOU DOUBLED BACK ON THE TRACK. EXCELLENT!

WHAT A WONDERFUL RIDE.

THANKS
DWC

Very Nice. I love your use of space.

Great layout I love the length gives you room for those long fraighter’s.
You must have planned for a while to get all that in the space you have, and the tunnel great Idea.
I’ll have to show this to a fellow club member he has limited space in a mobal park here in Vegas.
Great video I alway’s like to see the unique use of space and Ideas we!
model railroader’s come up with verry nice Dennis.

Very nice. We are going to start ours outside again. Can’t wait

WOW, What a nice job planning the use of space and what a beautiful running layout you have built. I love all the signals and the crossover under the house. Great Job!

Very nice. I Can’t wait until I get my on Garden Railroad up and running: Still in the construction phase.

Top layout, must have taken a lot of time to put together. Excellent use of space available. I live on one and a half acres and can only manage a 45ft oval.

Fantastic train ride all the Meades enjoyed it, love the tunnel

I think you did a wonderful job with the space you had to work with. How did you lay the track in the tunnel under the house? I have just a
loop of track with a siding to put my train on. It is elevated at 14in.
above the ground behind my house,as we rent we can’t put anything
down permently.

I am so used to seeing my narrow gauge trains run in my back yard and around the pool that this monster layout scares me! Nonetheless, as always, there is a lot to learn from a layout like this one. For example, using the length of the home as a visual point of interest for a long stretch of rails; a well done tunnel with a length some of us can only dream of; use of turns to bring on a surprise on the other side and on and on. Congrats on a job well done and thanks for sharing your nice work with the rest of us.
