Thank you to Senior Editor Roger Carp his participation in the 2016 Fall S-Fest, held this last weekend at Oconomowoc, WI. In addition to acting as guest speaker for the Saturday night dinner, Roger also for took time out of his busy schedule last Friday morning to personally conduct a tour of the Kalmbach Publishing facility for about a dozen of us attendees. His presentation on the process involved in putting together a monthly publication like CTT was very informative. Also a thank you to Bob Keller, who took some time to answer a few questions as we dropped by his “office”; which is really a model train store from all appearances. Finally thanks to the many members of the Badgerland S-Gaugers who arranged both the tour and the 2016 S-Fest.
Many thanks for taking the time to share your complimentary remarks. I am honored to have been asked by Jeff Madden to serve as the speaker on Saturday. I appreciate the hospitality Jeff showed, along with Steve Lunde, Roy Meisner, Ron Schlicht, and many others. And I was delighted to share a wonderful dinner with the people (S gaugers and their wives) at our table.
I hope to hear from attendees about their S gauge layouts and collectibles.
