Ok…here’s one for you…how come there is never anything going on week after week, month after month and then wham!..nothing but train related functions all in one weekend?..My MRR buddy and I where going to make a lot of the home tours this weekend and now there’s a train show in town!..I just can’t do both!..it’s a tough job making decisions in this hobby sometimes…Think I better stay with the home layout tours…i still got stuff from the last train show that i haven’t put together yet… BUT, on the other hand…[:D] sheez!..i give up!..chuck
Now you know how I feel when my MRR club and a friend hold open houses on the same day.
I’d go to the houses, a quieter and more personal environment, and if there is time, go to the train show, shirking off all responsobilities that come your way.

I’ve been to several train shows, and they’re almost always unimpressive. I would WAY rather see a few home layouts any day.
You are right about priorities, but the train show I go to every february is very impressive, with over 20 layouts, big ones, and many little ones.
