A video from the Pine Bluff AR show

I uploaded a short one minute video of the Traveling Layout Club of North Little Rock. They used to have 22" radius but decided to go to 41" radius instead.

During the recent show lighting was a challenge to my camcorder because it is a little dark. But this one I recorded in what little sunlight went thru the clouds.

Makes one consider how good the equiptment runs on 41" radius for a little more corner space than a 22"er. The video is fresh off the camcorder and will take a little time to be made ready by the website.

I must apologize fior the very poor audio, there was a large number of people inside a brick and steel shop and it basically destroyed any useable sound if any. Might as well mute the clip when you play it.

On the bright side, I think there was a simulated gyra headlight on the lead unit that comes around from left to right.

Without further ado:

Hey that was a great treat. I love to watch videos.

That was great. I like watching videos of show;s like that.

Great video of the layout. Thanks for sharing.

Thanx. Great video.

I would like to have seen this as a smooth continuous video instead of run chop run chop etc. Better luck next time. jc5729

Runs like a dream for me… DSL and /or Cable!

The videso were terrific!! Love them!! Nice job !!!

Your connection speed is where the problem is. Hit “Pause” and wait a moment. You will notice a lighter grey bar increase as the video is downloaded. Once it is on your machine (Likely in the temp folder) it will play for you.

Even on fast connections the internet sometimes runs slow and I too have to wait. My DSL service provides for 512 up and 3 down and average around 2.55 mb/sec overall. That is similar to having a T1 conncetion.

I forsee in the near future Fiber connections will make Gigabit connections to many homes and the days of Dailup, DSL and Cable gone forever.

Very nice video. Great timing that as the end of the first train rounds the bend, the second train appears going in the opposit direction.

I cannot take credit for the timing, the layout operator used his DCC to regulate the trains as soon as I started shooting.

I might actually become a member of the club if the 41" radius is “systemwide” because some of the big steam sits in the boxes otherwise. Just have to do a little research into dues etc.
