Now the lightning stripe motif on the UP unit makes sense!
Nice shot! I get the feeling that if you’d frozen the train, the waterfall wouldn’t have looked quite as heavy.
Very nice art !!! Excellent concept and vertical composition. Like the mix of textures and colors, too.
Slow exposure/ long shutter opening provided the motion effects for both the train and the water. I’m guessing about 1/10 or 1/8 of a second ?
Thanks for sharing, Adam (once again) !
Stunning!! The colors are so vivid it could almost be what some would label “unrealistic scenery colors on a model railroad” if we didn’t know better.
Glorious!!! Just when I think it’s “all been done” as far a rail photography is concerned someone comes along and proves me (thankfully!) wrong, wrong, wrong! We may have lost Jim Boyd and Dick Steinheimer this year, but praise be there’s others rushing to fill the void.
Beautiful, colorful railroad shot. Different.
Trivia: Seems like more water cascading down the hillside than is coming thru the pipe / concrete wall.
