Great model!!! I love the cab and the saddle tank. Really a unique engine!
Are you running inside or outside admission? I couldn’t get a good view of the johnson bar so that I might tell.
Very good Model! any thoughts about coverting other engines to burn wood pelets?
Enjoyed the show and a great engine, but does it have enough power burniong the wood pellets to pull and cars?
Very nice, live steam action is great. We have a live steam club a couple of streets from from my house. Great Video.
A great conversion and I must admit I liked the smoke - something one doesn’t get with anthracite.
The labor of love. All my visits to Owles Head have been memorable.
ESP. A ride in a Model T.
Any concerns with hot ashes falling on your plastic ties?
Small but very nice looks great,
This is a terrific idea. Here in Michigan, wood pellets are readily available, but we also have dried cherry pits from the huge cherry business here in 50 lb bags. Cherry pits are used for home heating and generally burn much hotter that wood pellets. Their shape and size are similar to pea coal. Given this piece, I am going to seriously look at using cherry pits for fuel. Thanks for the inspiration!!
