Wallyworld - Thanks for sharing this video, it’s great! That Lionel at the station early on is not only prewar it’s WW1 prewar! Toys, toys, toys!

Although I do not own any pre-war trains, I could watch this video again and again. It was a joy to watch.
What are the details on that monorail?
Thanks for posting Wally.

Its a O scale Leyland-Detroit Monorail if my memory serves me right… MTH made a reproduction of it several years ago which CTT reviewed , which still might be in their archives. This one may be an original but I have no way to tell. The video really captures that era, especially the music. It’s the bees knees…
Really, really neat!

Wow! I love tinplate.
Oh that was terrific. I could watch all day too. AND LISTEN!
Hi Wally,
I presume this layout is yours. Please contact me about having it featured in “Classic Toy Trains.” Roger Carp, Senior Editor, 262-796-8776 ext. 253
It’s not mine. The gentleman’s name is given at the beginning of the video. If I remember correctly, I think he belongs to the TCA. Sorry, that’s all I know about him.
