AAR reports record crude oil traffic for second quarter 2013
This year I have seen a huge increase unit tank car trains passing my house 100 feet away on the BNSF main very near downtown Chicago. They are, I presume, loaded with oil from North Dakota headed to eastern refineries. I worry that here, or at some other heavily populated place, there will be another Quebec wreck some day?
