Afternoon all, Here is something I have been experminting with.
I don’t know if you seen my post about the cork I have gotten, not to many replies I guess you have never seen it. Well I have tried doing some carving and scenicing on just to see if it is worth messing with. I thought it came out alright for a first attempt. This an old N scale I had that doesn’t run. What are your opinions and comments? Worth using or should I try foam? Mike
Hi Mike. Interesting concept. I have become addicted to foam, partially by how easy it is to carve. My guess is that cork is more difficult, but if you have it, it might be a good deal. I assume you will continue to experment and keep us all posted.
I have that same engine on top of Redikulas mountian working the mine, makes for nice distance illusion.
Do you mean the entire thing is made of cork?
that sure is one big chunk of roadbed!
Tha entire mountain is cork, not the folage or the train. Check my post about my cork blocks, I will find it and bump it. Mike
