Probebly a silly question, did S.P have any AC60’s?

I would have thought they were to new to be around before the U.P takeover.

Just wondered as BLI have it in the SP paint with later speed lettering?

No. SP only had a very simaler loco, the AC4400. They ordered them, but were bought by UP before GE delivered them. That BLI is in the “Classic Concepts” line of products.

I thought that the Southern Pacific Black Widow “Classic Concept” locomotive is from Tower 55. I believe the op stated that the locomotive in question was in speed lettering.

SP ordered 3 AC6000’s (600-602) but the order was cancelled after the SP/UP merger.
