[:D][:)][8D]Hello Jsfink

I’ve heard good things about Accu Paint. It think it’s either alcohol or water based.
You might not have much of a choice but to order from the options that you listed on your other thread.

[8)][;)]Please don’t take the following the wrong way but if what you want is hard to get or costly to get, consider the alternative of using another quality paint brand like Polly S or Model Flex.

[|(]I was “hard set” on Floquil until an air brush demo at a train show with these other paint brands made me a little more “flexible”. Needless to say, I’ve switched to Model Flex and one of my closest friends uses Polly S. His paint jobs are gorgeous. [tup][C=:-)]They’re very good products.

As long as your surface is properly prepared and "clean, you should have few problems in painting with Accu paint’s competition.

If the specific colors that you are looking for are not available in the competing brands, you can e-mail or call the manufacturer. I’ve seen in the past where they will tell you what colors to mix (in ratios) to get a specific color. I believe that even Model Railroader has given out paint formulas in the past. I would e-mail MRR and ask if the manufacturer can’t help.

Don’t give up! [;)] Hope this helps! AFP45
