This review highlights most of the advantages and disadvantages of this almost greast model. However, for a locomotive with this level of detail not to include smoke or sound options, no train crew and no lights, is a dissappointment. I have been unable to find a sound control card that comes close to simulating a UK main line steam locomotive. All the ones I can find (US or European) have bell sounds that were not used in UK and most un-like UK steam sounds. What sound card, if any, did Marc used for his review? Also, the only available compatible coaches are made in UK or Canada and cost about U$1,000 each, other than one UK version that is about half thisp price but is made by a modern version of tinplate on a solid body, so is not too realistic and cannot take lights or passengers. So to run an authentic train with this locomotive and say five coaches will cost about U$7,000.
